Customer
The customer agrees to comply with these and the merchant’s specific terms and conditions when purchasing products or services via Tyven Resort’s online services.
Ordering
General Terms
All prices shown in the online service include VAT.
Dynamic pricing is applied to accommodation. Prices vary depending on the season and may change monthly, weekly or daily.
We sell products to adult private individuals and corporate customers.
We reserve the right to make changes to prices.
The customer is responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide.
Customers are asked to complete a passenger declaration either before or during the booking.
We reserve the right to change our delivery terms. Customers must read the current terms before placing an order.
Booking Terms
These terms apply to all rentable or bookable products and services, collectively referred to as “the property”.
Booking
Reservations become binding once the order/payment confirmation has been sent to the customer’s email address.
Customers must pay for the booking using the selected payment method and in accordance with its terms.
The merchant is not responsible for failed reservations.
If the property is not available, payments will be refunded or an alternative offered if possible.
Cancellations and Changes
The cancellation date is the day the merchant receives the notice of cancellation.
If the customer cancels:
14 days or more before arrival: administrative fee 35 €.
Less than 14 but at least 7 days before arrival: 80% of the rental price.
Less than 7 days before arrival: full rental price.
Bookings made with a discount code are always charged in full regardless of cancellation time.
At the customer’s request, the reservation can be transferred under the following conditions:
Transfers can be made only once, at least 30 days before the original start date.
Transfer fee 45 € (incl. VAT).
If a transferred reservation is cancelled, the full rental fee will always be charged.
Merchant’s Right to Cancel
In the event of force majeure, the merchant may terminate the agreement.
The customer will be informed immediately and refunded in full. No other costs will be compensated.
Keys
Instructions for receiving the key are provided in the payment confirmation.
ELECTRIC CARS
Charging of electric cars is only permitted for those designated.
Use of the Property
The property is defined in the property description.
The customer may use the property and its facilities only during the rental period.
If the guest notices any deficiencies or other issues at the property, they must immediately inform the person responsible for reservation management.
The customer must maintain cleanliness and handle waste removal.
Pets
The renter is fully responsible for any damage caused by pets.
Pets must be leashed in national park areas and not left unattended in the accommodation.
Pet owners must ensure cleanliness.
Additional cleaning costs may apply.
Each property’s pet policy is specified separately.
Rental Equipment
The customer must read and follow the safety and usage instructions. Equipment must be used carefully and only for its intended purpose.
Water equipment users confirm swimming ability and prior experience.
Equipment must be returned clean and on time. Delays may incur a 50% surcharge.
Customers are liable for damage, loss or misuse and must compensate at replacement value.
The merchant is responsible for normal wear but not indirect costs due to breakdowns or delays.
Damages
Customers are liable for any damage caused to the property and by other guests during the rental period.
The merchant is not responsible for natural inconveniences such as insects, animals, or weather conditions.
Complaints
All complaints must be made as soon as possible after the issue arises.
If unresolved, a written complaint must be sent within one month after the rental period.
The merchant will handle complaints within one month.
If no agreement is reached, the customer may contact the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board.
Delivery Terms
Formation of the Contract
A binding contract is formed once the order has been confirmed by email
Cancellation and Returns
Products have a 14-day return right under the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, provided the product is unused and in original condition.
Please contact our sales team for detailed return instructions.
The return right does not apply to personalized products, accommodation, restaurant services or other leisure activities tied to a specific date.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
Product Warranty
Manufacturer or importer warranty terms apply.
Delivery
Delivery costs include postage and packaging fees, shown at checkout once the payment and delivery method are selected.
Payment Terms
The merchant uses secure payment intermediaries
The merchant does not store banking or credit card details
The customer must comply with the selected payment method’s terms.
Invoices
Invoices must be paid by the due date.
Late payments incur additional charges. If the invoice is paid after the due date using the original invoice and late payment fees have already accrued, those fees will be invoiced separately.
If the payment transaction has not been successfully completed at the time of ordering, the Merchant will not process the order.
